Marche triomphale

Very colorful. Fanfarish in nature with a sense of elegance, pomp and pride. Lots of melodic intertwining, with excellent parts for all. Two timpanists with four kettledrums each and a bass drummer are needed for this piece.

It is an ideal piece to program as an opener or closer to a concert or recital for strong college-level or professional musicians.
