Sonata from Cantata BWV 31

For one B-flat piccolo trumpet, eight B-flat trumpets and optional timpani. A highly rewarding, very exciting and complex piece that has lines flying and intertwining everywhere. Great for working on ensemble playing while playing independent lines. Style and understanding of Baroque phrasing is critical for successful performance. What a great piece (listen to the recording, especially on earphones or external speakers!).
